My money journey started with a phone call.

In 2018, I got a phone call from my mom’s doctor’s office. She had been unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer.

And then! 2 months later, my dad also got a cancer diagnosis. Needless to say, in a matter of weeks, my life was flipped upside down.

As the only daughter, I took a leave of absence & went home to take care of them. I was not financially prepared for this. At all.

This moment changed everything for me.

It changed how I view money, what I do with it & how I steward it. And so I made a promise to myself: I would never be this financially vulnerable or unprepared ever again.

My parents both beat their cancer diagnosis (praise God!) and I return home and got to work.

But I came home with one burning question:

How do you make your money work for you?

I wanted to learn not just how to save, but how to start using money in powerful & strategic way to actually BUILD.

And since then, I’ve been able to:

Save & maintain 6 months of living expenses

Get on track to retirement with $2M

Build an $100k+ investment portfolio

Buy a house & start a family

Start investing early for my daughter

And full time in my business!

But what I’m most proud of is I feel like a capable & competent steward of money. And I know how to use money (at any salary) to build a rich & beautiful life.
